How to Play

The aim of the game is to place a wager on the hand you believe will receive the higher total. You may also bet that both hands have the same total, or tie. Once all bets are placed two hands, each of two cards, are dealt - one to the Punto (Player) and one to the Banco (Banker). Additional cards may be drawn by the Dealer, according to the table of play. After all cards have been dealt the Dealer pays the winning bets.

Hand Totals

The highest hand total in Punto Banco is 9 and the lowest is 0. Cards from Ace to 9 have their face value, Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings count as 0. When determining the value of a hand only the right hand digit is used.

For example:
2 + 3 + 6 = 11 the hand value is 1
6 + 4 = 10 the hand value is 0
King + 7 = 7 the hand value is 7

Table of Play

There are no optional draws. Both Punto and Banco must draw according to the following tables of play. These tables apply after the first four cards are dealt. Banco must stand on 6 when Punto has 6 or 7 on the initial deal. Banco draws to 0,1,2,3,4 or 5 when Punto stands on 6 or 7 on the initial deal.

UR WAY Egalite sidebet

Where the standard Egalite side wager paid 8 to 1 for any tied hand regardless of the score, the new “UR Way Egalite” side wager allows players to bet on one of the ten possible tied score outcomes (e.g. tied on a score of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc up to 9). Different tied scores then pay different odds, according to the possibilities of their occurring. These odds range from 80 to 1 for a tied score of nine, up to 225 to 1 for a tied score of zero.
